Requirements for Membership

 

To become a Freemason, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a man of at least 18 years of age

  • Believe in a Supreme Being

  • Be of good moral character

  • Be a MD resident for at least 12 months

​To join the world's oldest fraternity, it must be of your own free will and accord - you will never receive an invitation to join. Freemasons have adopted the saying "To be one, ask one."
